About EVEC

Our Story

The Education and Vocational Exchange Center (EVEC) was founded in 2014 in Kocani, North Macedonia with a clear mission: to empower young people through innovative technologies that serve the green transition. What began as a small youth initiative has grown into a recognized European innovation hub operating at the intersection of drone technology, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy.

Our Mission

We believe that the future of sustainable development lies in equipping the next generation with practical, cutting-edge skills. Through Erasmus+ partnerships, vocational education programs, and hands-on training, EVEC connects youth, educators, and organizations across Europe to drive meaningful innovation in green technologies.

What We Do

Drone Technology Education

We develop and deliver comprehensive VET curricula focused on UAV operations, covering everything from basic flight training to advanced applications in precision agriculture, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure inspection.

Smart Agriculture Innovation

Our programs integrate drone-based NDVI analysis, multispectral imaging, and data-driven crop monitoring to help farmers and agricultural students embrace sustainable, technology-enhanced farming practices.

Renewable Energy Applications

We explore and teach the application of UAV technology in renewable energy contexts, including solar panel inspection, wind turbine monitoring, and environmental impact assessment for green energy projects.

European Cooperation

Through Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships and Small-Scale Partnerships (KA210, KA220), we build transnational networks that enable knowledge exchange, joint curriculum development, and collaborative innovation across 12+ European countries.

Our Impact

Over the past decade, EVEC has:

• Completed 15+ EU-funded projects through Erasmus+ and other European programs
• Trained 500+ young people in drone technology and green innovation skills
• Built partnerships with organizations in 12 European countries
• Developed innovative VET curricula adopted by partner institutions across Europe
• Contributed to the European Green Deal objectives through practical youth education
