Your partner in North Macedonia for stronger Erasmus+ Youth projects.

EVEC Kocani is a Macedonian youth NGO that recruits and prepares participants, and partners in Erasmus+ Youth projects across Europe. Need a partner who brings motivated Macedonian participants, delivery in four towns, and the European added value of an EU candidate country that widens your consortium's geographic scope? That's us. We are also bringing our network's hands-on educational tools — microgreens, mycelium, solar and drones — to North Macedonia. Project ready or still taking shape, we complete it — or strengthen it.

Why EVEC Kocani

Still building your consortium for Erasmus+ Youth projects? Here's why we're the partner you want.

You're looking for partners who genuinely contribute and complement your idea — and bring extra points to the application. However you come to us, we fit.

Not 100% sure yet — feel like something's missing from your idea?

We complement it with the EVEC network's hands-on educational tools — microgreens, mycelium, solar and drones — authored by our president and piloted at our sister organisation in Athens, and now being brought to North Macedonia. They add genuine innovation and lift your score on the green and digital priorities.

Idea's set — you just need a reliable partner?

No problem. We're an established, experienced and dependable partner — active since 2014, with 17 EU projects across our network since 2015 — and we're always glad to learn something new from you and your project.

Either way works for us — whether you need our methodology or simply the best match for your consortium, you get people who deliver and who love to learn.

01What we bring to your partnership

Concrete roles we take on in your work packages — each one a reason your application scores higher and your project is easier to deliver.

Delivery in four towns

We deliver activities in Kocani, Stip, Strumica and Delcevo — with a further branch in Lozovo. Local venues, local logistics and an experienced team in each town, so your Macedonian work package runs on the ground, not on paper.

Participant recruitment & preparation

We recruit and prepare motivated Macedonian participants and youth workers, run pre-departure training, and support reintegration when they come home — a recruitment work package you can rely on.

Non-formal education by real professionals

Our members include teachers, special-education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, social workers and nurses — people who turn your project's themes into hands-on activities with documented learning outcomes.

EU added value of a candidate country

North Macedonia is an EU candidate country fully associated to Erasmus+. Adding us widens your consortium's geographic scope beyond the EU-27 and strengthens the European added value evaluators look for.

Inclusion you can't fake

We work daily in day-care centres for people with disabilities in Stip and Delcevo (the centres are not ours; they long predate EVEC, which was founded in 2014, and we cooperate with them), run Roma youth integration activities, and were the first organisation in North Macedonia to introduce the Paralympic sport Boccia. Fewer-opportunities reach that's real, not a checkbox.

A record you can verify

17 EU projects across the EVEC network since 2015 — including an Erasmus+ mobility project we coordinated ourselves — with every reference number checkable on the EU's Project Results Platform.

Built for the award criteria

The points our partnership adds to your application.

Evaluators score your application against the Erasmus+ award criteria. A strong partner lifts your score on every one of them — here's exactly where we add the points.

Relevanceup to 25 pts

A partner from an EU candidate country adds genuine European added value and widens your consortium's geographic scope — and our daily work with young people with fewer opportunities speaks directly to the inclusion and diversity priority.

Project design & implementationup to 30 pts

Concrete, well-defined work packages — Macedonian recruitment, delivery in four towns, non-formal education, inclusion support — backed by a partner record since 2015 that strengthens your work plan.

Partnership & cooperationup to 20 pts

An established, experienced partner (founded 2014 · OID E10119353 · ESC Quality Label to 2027) with four branch offices, genuinely complementing your consortium — a clear, mandate-ready role, not just a name on the list.

Impact & disseminationup to 25 pts

Reach across four towns, their schools and day-care centres; experience running an online radio and a bilingual EN/MK youth magazine; and an EVEC network that keeps results visible and reusable beyond the project.

Weights shown are for KA220 Cooperation Partnerships; KA210 and KA1 Youth are scored on the same dimensions with different weights.

Low-commitment first steps

Not ready for a multi-year project? Start smaller.

A single exchange

Start with one youth exchange — with a Macedonian group in it.

A short youth exchange (typically one to two weeks) is a low-risk way to work together first — we recruit and prepare a Macedonian group for your exchange abroad, or help you plan an activity delivered in our towns, and build the relationship from there.

Bring your youth workers to eastern North Macedonia for a short study visit or job-shadowing — see the day-care centres we work in, our Boccia sessions and our eco-school cooperation, and decide where EVEC Kocani fits before you commit.

Planning for the years ahead? The proposed 2028–2034 programme is set to expand youth mobility and cooperation. We'll help your organisation get ready — and grow with you as North Macedonia's role in the programme grows.

What we plug into your project · the EVEC toolkit

We don't just join your project — we bring new methods with us.

Science made simple, learning made real. The four EVEC methodologies — microgreens, mycelium, solar and drones — were authored by our president, Blagoj Ristov, and piloted at our sister organisation EVEC Athens. EVEC Kocani is a founding member of the EVEC network, and we are now bringing these hands-on, non-formal tools to North Macedonia — so your project delivers more strongly on the EU green and digital priorities, and can be among the first to run them here.

An honest note: in North Macedonia these are new programmes we are starting, not past accomplishments — the delivered results so far belong to EVEC Athens. Your project can be among the first to run them here.

Partner FAQ

The practical questions you ask before you put a partner in your application — answered straight.

Is EVEC Kocani eligible to join my Erasmus+ Youth project?

Yes. We are a registered citizens' association founded in 2014, with active EU organisation IDs (OID E10119353 · PIC 943554018) and an ESC Quality Label (Hosting + Supporting) valid to 31/12/2027. Erasmus+ Youth exchanges, mobility of youth workers, KA210 and KA220 are open to any eligible organisation — no special accreditation is needed to partner. And to be straight with you: we do not currently hold an Erasmus+ KA150 youth accreditation, and we don't claim one.

Which Key Actions can EVEC Kocani partner on?

KA1 youth exchanges and mobility of youth workers — our network's partner record runs since 2015, and we're in a live KA153 project right now — plus KA210 small-scale partnerships and KA220 cooperation partnerships.

What will EVEC Kocani contribute — and will you help write your part?

We take on concrete work packages — Macedonian participant recruitment, delivery in four towns, non-formal education, inclusion expertise — and we co-draft our own sections, giving you the activity descriptions, methodology and figures you need so our contribution is written to score.

What do you provide so we can add EVEC Kocani to the application?

Everything you need, fast: our OID (E10119353), PIC (943554018), legal-entity details, and a signed Partner Information Form (PIF) and mandate — on request and comfortably before your deadline. We reply within 3 working days.

How are budget and costs handled?

Erasmus+ partnerships are funded by a lump sum set by the current Erasmus+ rules. We agree a fair share for the work packages we deliver — no hidden costs and no up-front fee — and we're paid from the project grant, like any partner.

How reliable is EVEC Kocani on delivery and reporting?

The EVEC network has taken part in 17 EU projects since 2015, including an Erasmus+ mobility project we coordinated ourselves (2020-1-MK01-KA102-077700). We manage our own activities, evidence and reporting — and every reference number is verifiable on the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform.

Can young people under 18 take part in your activities?

Yes — our target groups run from 17 to 30, with a strong focus on young people with fewer opportunities. Minors take part with parental consent, per our safeguarding policy, and the members running the activities include psychologists and special-education teachers.

What if the application isn't approved?

No cost and no obligation. We're glad to refine the idea and reapply in the next round, or adapt it for a different call — building a partnership that works is the point.

How quickly do you respond, and how do we start?

Within 3 working days. E-mail your idea, Key Action and timeline to contact@evec.org.mk and we'll reply with honest feedback and the next step.
