EVEC Kocani coordinated an Erasmus+ VET mobility project that sent Macedonian VET students abroad. Today we offer the other side of that experience: partnering on your VET project and hosting your learner group in Kocani, North Macedonia — with everything organised on the ground, and nothing invented about our track record.

What a hosted mobility would look like
Every programme is built around your school's vocation. In Kocani your students work hands-on with our team and visit local businesses, schools and community partners in their field, with cultural experiences woven through the stay. They leave with practical skills, a European experience, and a certificate of participation.
We describe this in the conditional on purpose. It is the model our sister organisation runs for hosted groups in Athens, and the model we know from the sending side of our own coordinated project — offered here as a commitment, not dressed up as a history.

How it works, step by step
The same journey, in the order it happens — what we do for your group between your first message and the transfer back to the airport.
Step 1
You tell us the vocation and the dates
Two pieces of information are enough to begin: what your students are training in, and when you want to travel. Tell us your students' vocation and your dates, and we build the rest around them.
Step 2
We answer honestly whether we can build it
If your field sits close to what we know — entrepreneurship and social media, eco-education, inclusive sport, or the EVEC Method fields our network piloted in Athens — we start there. If we cannot build a serious programme for your field, we say so plainly instead of taking the booking.
Step 3
You receive one offer, not a stack of separate bookings
Airport transfers, local transport, accommodation, meals, the hands-on activity programme, visits to local partners, cultural excursions and documentation support reach you as one package from one organisation. Accommodation is matched to your group and your budget.
Step 4
The paperwork sits inside the package
Documentation support is included, not an extra you arrange yourself: we support the Learning Agreement and Europass side of the mobility. We coordinated our own Erasmus+ VET project from application to final report, so the administrative side is ground we have already walked.
Step 5
Your group lands and the programme runs
We meet your group at the airport on arrival. From there your students work hands-on with our team in Kocani and visit local partners in their field, with cultural experiences woven through the stay and local transport throughout. You bring the students — we handle the ground.
Step 6
Everyone leaves with something to show for it
The mobility closes with a certificate of participation, and with the things that do not fit on a certificate: practical skills, intercultural experience, confidence and motivation, and a genuine European mobility behind them. Then we take the group back to the airport.

The EVEC Method: science made simple, learning made real.
Our network takes complex scientific research and turns it into something anyone can understand and use — especially young people. Learners work by doing: hands-on workshops, real projects, real visits. The four fields below were authored within the EVEC network and piloted by our sister organisation in Athens; EVEC Kocani, a founding member of the network, is bringing them to North Macedonia now. When we write "we are starting", we mean exactly that.

EVEC Kocani is a citizens' association founded in 2014, active in EU programmes since 2015 through our network of branch offices. We hold an ESC Quality Label (Hosting + Supporting) and we coordinated our own Erasmus+ VET mobility. Questions to settle before choosing an Erasmus+ VET mobility partner in North Macedonia
Short answers to the things worth settling before you send the first email — including the ones that don't flatter us.
Have you hosted a VET group in Kocani before?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Our delivered VET experience is on the coordinating side: we ran our own Erasmus+ VET mobility (2020-1-MK01-KA102-077700) and sent Macedonian VET students abroad. Hosting in Kocani follows the model our sister organisation runs for hosted groups in Athens, offered here as a commitment we plan and price honestly. If you want a host with a long hosting history, we are not it yet — if you want a host who tells you that unprompted, keep reading.
What exactly is included in the hosting package?
Airport transfers on arrival and departure, local transport throughout the stay, accommodation matched to your group and budget, meals, a hands-on activity programme in your students' vocational field, visits to local businesses, schools and community partners, cultural visits and excursions, and documentation support for the Learning Agreement and Europass. It reaches you as one offer from one organisation, rather than as a list of things you have to arrange separately from abroad.
How large can our group be?
We don't publish a maximum, because we won't invent a capacity figure. The honest answer depends on accommodation available in Kocani for your dates and on how many of our members we can commit to your field. Tell us the size of the group and we answer plainly whether we can take it — and if we can't, we say so instead of overbooking.
Do you need a VET accreditation to host or partner with us?
No. No VET-specific accreditation is required to host VET groups or to partner on Erasmus+ projects. For clarity about what we do and don't hold: we hold an ESC Quality Label (Hosting + Supporting, valid to 31/12/2027) — a volunteering quality mark — and we do not hold an Erasmus+ accreditation. What we have instead is a coordinated VET mobility behind us, with a reference code you can check.
What does it cost?
We don't publish a standard price, because there is no standard programme: accommodation is matched to your group and budget, and the activity programme is built around your students' vocation. On the grant side we quote no figures either — the amounts your project can spend are set by the current Erasmus+ rules for North Macedonia and by your own grant agreement. Tell us the group, the field and the dates, and we come back with a tailored offer.
How long should the mobility be?
That is not ours to decide. The Erasmus+ rules for your Key Action set which durations are allowed, and your own grant agreement fixes what your project may actually run. What we decide is not the length but what goes inside it. You set the dates; we build around them — the same way the schools in our own coordinated project worked within the rules of their 2020–2022 grant.
Our vocational field is not on your list. Is that a problem?
Possibly not — ask us. Entrepreneurship and social media, eco-education, inclusive sport and the four EVEC Method fields are where we start, not a closed list. But we will not promise a serious programme in a field where we cannot deliver one: if your vocation is outside what we and our local partners can honestly cover, we tell you so in the first reply, not after you've booked flights.
What do the students actually take home?
Real practical skills, a certificate of participation, intercultural experience, confidence and motivation, and a genuine European mobility. The learning happens by doing rather than by watching: hands-on work with our team, real tasks, and visits to local partners in their field.
We are not sending a group. Is there still a reason to talk to you?
Yes. EVEC Kocani also joins cooperation partnerships, bringing the EVEC network's methodology — built around microgreens, expanding into mycelium, drones and solar, piloted by our sister organisation in Athens. And if your mobility belongs to a different Erasmus+ strand, the group links at the top of the page lead to Youth, ESC, School Education, Adult and Sport.

Yes, and it is separate from hosting. From concept to submission we help you shape a VET project — structuring priorities, work packages and outputs, and reviewing your drafts. You stay the author and owner. We coordinated our own KA102 from application to final report with the Macedonian National Agency (MK01), so what we share is lived experience, not theory.

How quickly will you get back to us?
We reply within 3 working days. That holds whether you are asking for a full hosting offer or only checking whether we could take your group at all. We don't publish office hours — e-mail is the reliable way to reach us, and contact@evec.org.mk is read by the people who would actually run your programme. Response time is a fair thing to test before you commit to any partner, so test ours.
Which countries has your network worked with?
Since 2015 our network has taken part in 17 EU projects, with coordinators and partners in Turkey, Slovenia, Greece, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria among others — every project code is searchable on the Erasmus+ Project Results platform. Treat that list as a record of where we have worked so far rather than a boundary: if your country is not on it, send us the vocation and the dates anyway.
Our field has nothing to do with microgreens. Does the EVEC Method still apply?
Yes, because the EVEC Method is an approach rather than a subject: complex science turned into something anyone can understand and use, learned by doing. Microgreens is the theme our network has built out most fully — piloted in Athens — with mycelium, drones and solar following behind it. In North Macedonia these methods are what we are bringing in now, not what we have already run; the approach itself, learning by doing around your students' own field, is how we build every programme.
What does building the programme around our curriculum actually involve?
It means starting from your vocational field instead of from a catalogue. The hands-on work your students do, the local partners we take them to visit and the practical tasks they are set are chosen to sit inside the field they are training in — which is why we ask for the vocation before anything else, and why two schools travelling on identical dates would not receive identical programmes. It is also work we do before your group arrives, not while it is here.
What should we have ready before we write to you?
Not much, and that is the point. The two things we need are the ones only you can supply: the vocation your students are training in, and the window you want to travel in. Add the size of the group if you already know it and we can go straight to a tailored offer instead of a round of clarifying questions. Everything else — accommodation, the shape of the activity programme, which partners you visit, where the excursions sit — is what we work out from those answers.
Why go through one organisation instead of arranging the pieces ourselves?
Because of how much you would otherwise have to hold in your head. Every item in the hosting package can be booked separately from abroad, in a language you may not read, with a separate confirmation to chase for each one and nobody answerable when two of them clash. Arranged through one organisation they reach you as one offer, and one organisation is answerable for all of it. You bring the students, and the coordination stops being your problem.
