For adult-education organisations · Erasmus+ · KA1 host & KA2 partner
Adult learning with real people behind it — in Kocani, North Macedonia.
Our members have trained across generations for over a decade — as direct trainers in intergenerational education, and alongside the parents and guardians of the people supported by the day-care centres we work with. Bring your adult learners or educators to Kocani for a hosted KA1 mobility, or invite us as your committed Erasmus+ Adult Education partner in a KA2 cooperation project.
Evidence before promises
Adult learning we have actually done — not a brochure.
Plenty of organisations promise "experience with adult learners". Here is ours, plainly stated, so you can judge it before you write us into anything.
Our intergenerational education experience is documented in our accreditation forms: our own members act as direct trainers, and the day-care centres our members work in bring us into weekly contact with the parents and guardians of the adults and children they support.

Intergenerational education
Documented in our accreditation forms — our members train directly, across generations.
Parents & guardians as learners
Through the day-care centres we work with in Stip (open since 2006) and Delcevo (since 2004), we reach the parents and guardians of the daily beneficiaries.
Teachers among our members
Including teachers of primary school "Rade Kratovce" Kocani — a "Green Flag" eco-school.
Professional teams
Special-education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, social workers and nurses — in the centres we work with, and among our members.
Community eco calendar
A year-round programme with our community — World Water Day, Earth Day, car-free day and more.
Inclusive sport for every age
First organisation in North Macedonia to introduce the Paralympic sport Boccia, with two trained trainers.
What a workshop looks like
Hands-on learning, built for adults.
No lectures, no jargon — non-formal methods our members have used for years, plus a network toolkit we are now bringing to North Macedonia.
In our sessions, adults learn by doing. It is the approach our members have used for years as direct trainers in intergenerational education, and in the day-to-day work of the day-care centres we partner with — where the parents and guardians of the beneficiaries are learners in their own right.
We are now bringing the EVEC network's microgreens methodology to Kocani — authored by our president Blagoj Ristov and piloted by our sister organisation in Athens. Adults grow food from seed to plate: gentle, social, and easy to join at any pace.

Honest status, so you know exactly what you are getting: the intergenerational and day-care experience on this page is our own, and documented. The microgreens, mycelium, drone and solar methodologies are the EVEC network's toolkit — authored by our president and piloted in Athens. In Kocani we are starting them now, and we say so rather than claim otherwise.
The toolkit behind the workshops
Four methodologies from our network — piloted in Athens, now being brought to North Macedonia.
Bring your group to Kocani — we host your KA1 Adult mobility
You bring the people. We handle everything on the ground.
Whether you're sending adult educators to grow their practice, or a group of adult learners for a structured learning experience, we host the whole thing in Kocani — learning, logistics and culture, as one offer.
Two ways to come
For adult educators
Learn how we actually work
Spend time with our trainers and the centre teams — special-education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, social workers and nurses. See intergenerational non-formal education in practice, visit the day-care centres in Stip and Delcevo, and follow the network's microgreens methodology as we bring it to Kocani.
For adult-learner groups
A structured learning experience
A structured programme — hands-on activities, healthy living, green habits and community — with clear learning outcomes for your adult learners. The cultural side complements the learning; it doesn't replace it.
Your complete package
Everything your group needs on the ground — organised by us, as one single offer.
How the funding works: EVEC Kocani is your host and your Erasmus+ Adult Education partner for the mobility. Your organisation holds the Erasmus+ KA1 Adult Education grant (an accredited KA121-ADU, or a short-term KA122-ADU project) and chooses us as the receiving partner. We don't need our own accreditation to host you, and the grant amounts are set by the current Erasmus+ rules for North Macedonia — not by us.
How hosting works, step by step
What working with an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner in Kocani actually looks like — from your first email to your learners' Europass records.
Tell us your group and your dates
Write to us with who is coming — adult educators, adult learners, or a mix — and the dates you are working towards. We reply within three working days.
We talk about the learning first
We ask what your organisation wants people to come home able to do, and whether hands-on, non-formal learning in real community settings serves it. The cultural visits complement that learning; they don't replace it.
You receive one hosting offer
Airport transfers, local transport, accommodation, meals, the full hands-on activity programme, community-project visits and the cultural visits — organised by us and put to you as one single offer.
You name EVEC Kocani as the receiving partner
Your organisation holds the Erasmus+ KA1 Adult Education grant — an accredited KA121-ADU, or a short-term KA122-ADU project — and chooses us as the receiving partner. The grant and the ownership stay with you; we are the host on the ground.
We build the days around your dates
We do not set mobility durations. The Erasmus+ rules for your Key Action and your own grant agreement do that. Tell us the dates your agreement allows and we design the programme to fit them.
Your group arrives — and leaves with the records
You bring the people; we handle everything on the ground. Learning-outcome records travel home with the group, ready for your Europass Mobility documents.
An Erasmus+ Adult Education partner should answer fast: three working days is our maximum, not our target. If a submission deadline is closing in on you, say so in the first line.
Partner with us in your KA2
The Erasmus+ Adult Education partner you wish every project had.
Too many partnerships stall because a partner doesn't pull their weight. We're the opposite.
EVEC Kocani delivers its tasks, brings real target groups and the professionals who work with them, and makes your adult-education project stronger — whatever your theme.
What we bring to your partnership
Five reasons to choose EVEC Kocani as your Erasmus+ Adult Education partner.
Reliable delivery
17 EU projects across our network since 2015 — including an Erasmus+ VET mobility we coordinated ourselves. We know what "delivered" means.
Real target-group access
Day-care centres for people with disabilities, the parents and guardians of their beneficiaries, Roma young people, schools and teachers.
Professional teams
Special-education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, social workers and nurses — our members and the teams at the centres we work with.
Erasmus+ experience
We know the priorities, the process, and the paperwork — from partner roles and from coordinating our own project.
Reach across the country
Branch offices in Stip, Strumica, Delcevo and Lozovo, plus experience running an online radio and a bilingual EN/MK monthly youth magazine. More about who we are and how the network fits together.
Your theme, or ours
We adapt our approach to any adult-education theme. A few that fit well:
Proof — a project we coordinated ourselves
"Entrepreneurial Development Through Internet and Social Media" — an Erasmus+ VET mobility we coordinated ourselves (2020–2022), sending Macedonian VET students abroad. It sits in the VET strand rather than adult education — and we would rather show you a real delivered project in the wrong strand than an impressive-sounding one in the right strand.
Every project reference on this page is verifiable on the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform — search the code at erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/projects.
Help writing your project
Prefer to lead it yourself? We'll help you make it strong.
We'll help you structure priorities, work packages and outputs, and review your drafts — while you stay the author and owner.
Ethical by design: we coach, structure and review — we don't ghost-write complete projects as a turnkey product. The project stays genuinely yours.
Who we are not the right Erasmus+ Adult Education partner for
Choosing a partner also means ruling some out. Saying this plainly now saves everyone a wasted application round.
Consortia that need an accredited adult-education applicant. We hold no Erasmus+ accreditation in any field. Our EU quality mark is the ESC Quality Label (Hosting + Supporting, volunteering — valid to 31/12/2027). If your plan depends on a partner that is itself Erasmus+-accredited, we are not that partner on paper — though we can still be your host in Kocani and your eligible KA2 partner, which is a different and perfectly solid role.
Anyone who wants the application written for them. We coach, structure and review, and we will tell you where a draft looks weak. We don't ghost-write complete projects as a turnkey product. If that is what you are looking for, we are the wrong partner for you.
Individual learners looking for a course to book. Everything on this page is built around an organisation that sends a group. The Erasmus+ KA1 Adult Education grant is held by your organisation, not by the people travelling — so if you are an individual learner, ask the organisation that teaches you to write to us instead.
Projects that only want a name on the form. A partner who is listed and never heard from again adds nothing to your work packages. We take real tasks and deliver them — that is the whole point of choosing an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner rather than a logo.
Trust & credibility
Real, EU-recognised, a safe partner.
We're a registered citizens' association, active since 2014, holding the ESC Quality Label (Hosting + Supporting, valid to 31/12/2027) — with 17 EU projects across our network since 2015. Every number below can be checked in the EU's own registers, and we'd rather you did.

Questions coordinators ask us
Choosing an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner — the honest answers.
What adult-education coordinators want to know before they commit, answered the way we would answer them in person.
What does an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner actually do in a KA1 mobility?
Two different jobs, worth keeping apart. Your organisation holds the grant and brings the people. The receiving partner — that is us — handles everything on the ground: the full hands-on activity programme, the community-project visits, the cultural visits, and the practical things around them, from the airport transfers to the meals. You keep the grant and the ownership. We take Kocani.
Does an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner need its own accreditation to host us?
No. We don't need our own accreditation to host you — the accredited KA121-ADU, or the short-term KA122-ADU project, sits with your organisation as the sender. And here is the part we keep in plain sight rather than blur: we hold no Erasmus+ accreditation in any field. Our EU quality mark is the ESC Quality Label (Hosting + Supporting, valid to 31/12/2027), which covers volunteering. For adult education we act as your eligible KA2 partner and your host in Kocani — and you should know exactly which hat we are wearing before you write us into a form.
How long can the mobility be?
As long as the Erasmus+ rules for your Key Action allow, and as long as your own grant agreement provides for. We are not inventing rules — Erasmus+ already has them. Tell us the window you are working inside and we build the programme to fit it, rather than nudging you towards a length that happens to suit us. The same goes for money: grant amounts are set by the current Erasmus+ rules for North Macedonia, not by us.
How fast do you reply, and where are you?
We reply within three working days. Our seat is at Ul. Boris Trajkovski 42, 2300 Kocani, North Macedonia, and we have branch offices in Stip, Strumica, Delcevo and Lozovo. The simplest way to reach the right person is to write to contact@evec.org.mk — we will arrange a call or a visit from there.
What is included in the hosting package?
Airport transfers, local transport, accommodation, meals, the full hands-on activity programme, community-project visits, cultural visits in Kocani and the region, and learning-outcome records for your Europass Mobility. One package, organised by us as one single offer. Bundling it is deliberate: an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner should be taking work off your project, not adding to it.
What real experience do you have with adult learners?
The kind that is documented, not decorative. Our intergenerational education experience is recorded in our accreditation forms, with our own members acting as direct trainers. Through the day-care centres for people with disabilities we partner with — open in Stip since 2006 and in Delcevo since 2004 — we work continuously with the parents and guardians of the daily beneficiaries, who are adult learners in their own right. Our members include teachers of primary school "Rade Kratovce", a "Green Flag" eco-school, and the centre teams include special-education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, social workers and nurses.
Can you work on a theme that has nothing to do with microgreens?
Yes. The methodologies — microgreens, mycelium, drones, solar — are our network's toolkit, authored by our president and piloted in Athens, and we are bringing them to Kocani now. But the transferable thing is the method: hands-on, non-formal learning that adults actually engage with. It adapts to social inclusion, community building, active citizenship and intercultural learning just as readily. Any adult-education theme is welcome — your project leads, and we adapt to it.
What proof is there that you deliver?
"Entrepreneurial Development Through Internet and Social Media" — an Erasmus+ VET mobility that we coordinated ourselves, 2020–2022, reference 2020-1-MK01-KA102-077700, sending Macedonian VET students abroad. It sits in the VET strand rather than adult education, and we would rather point you at a real delivered project in the wrong strand than at an impressive-sounding one in the right strand. Behind it stand 17 EU projects across our network since 2015, including a current partner role in "Green Pathways: Empowering NEET Youth for a Sustainable Future" (2025-1-RO01-KA153-YOU-000298169). Every code is verifiable on the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform.
We want to write the application ourselves. Will you still help?
Gladly — that is the version we prefer. We help you structure priorities, work packages and outputs, and we review your drafts, while you stay the author and the owner. What we will not do is ghost-write a complete project as a turnkey product, because a project written by someone else tends to be delivered by nobody. A good Erasmus+ Adult Education partner makes your application stronger; it does not quietly make it theirs.
Should we host a group, or invite you in as our Erasmus+ Adult Education partner on a KA2?
They answer different needs, and nothing stops you doing both. Hosting moves your own people to Kocani for a structured learning experience under your KA1 Adult Education grant. A KA2 cooperation partnership builds something together over a longer arc, with EVEC Kocani holding real work packages of its own. If you are genuinely unsure, describe the outcome you want and we will tell you which route carries it better.
We are only at the thinking stage. Is it too early to write?
Early is better. We have coordinated our own Erasmus+ project and our network has delivered seventeen EU projects in total — as the next Erasmus+ cycle approaches we share what we have learned, so your organisation can build towards running its own mobility rather than always depending on someone else's. Opening the conversation costs you one email and, at most, three working days of waiting.
